It wasn’t much, but at least we could send and receive e-mails while traveling. Nowadays, a good number of airlines are adding high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connections on some of their airplanes. As of last month, Delta had a fleet of 99Wi-Fi-equipped aircraft: 91 MD-88 planes, one MD-90 and seven B757s. The Delta service that VideoAge tried from Miami, Florida to New York City was good, with no service interruptions and easy connections.
