The number two best airport in the world is Doha Hamad, and the number three is also in the Middle East, in Riyadh. In Latin America, the airport in Brasilia, Brazil, took the number four spot. The U.S. took eighth place with the Salt Lake City airport, while in Europe, the ninth rank went to Bergen in Norway. Looking at the airports in countries the international TV sector is more familiar with, Nagoya in Japan ranked 15, while Los Angeles’ LAX was ranked 21, and Singapore a distant 34.
